This project consisted of two staircases - one on the side and one on the rear of the house.
The side staircase was built completely new so we could expand the upper landing and shorten the step height. A landing/platform was added midway in order to turn left and continue the stairs down to the new dog run. Trex Transcend decking was installed in a picture frame style, while “Oversized” wrought iron railings were installed to match the existing rear staircase.
The rear staircase job was to replace the existing decking with the Trex Transcend, make underneath the landing water tight, replace the “hit and miss” brickwork with solid brick, and repaint the lumber components of the deck.
